ABOUT SUMMIT API GROUP
Built for the Supply Chain Research and Compounding Depend On
Summit API Group exists to close the gap between API manufacturers and the research institutions and compounding pharmacies that depend on consistent, well-documented supply.
That gap is wider than it should be. Sourcing has grown faster than the infrastructure around it and buyers are often left piecing together supply from whichever source answers the phone, with documentation requested after the fact instead of provided upfront. For a research program or a licensed compounding pharmacy, that’s not a minor inconvenience. It’s the difference between a supply chain you can defend and one you’re hoping nobody asks questions about.
We built Summit API Group around a different premise: that sourcing discipline is the actual product. Vetted manufacturers. Verified purity. Complete documentation, provided before you have to ask for it. The organizations we supply should be able to focus on research, patient care and formulation instead of chasing paperwork.
Our Approach to Sourcing
We treat sourcing as a discipline, not a transaction. In practice, that means:
We vet before we list. A manufacturer relationship starts with vetting; manufacturing process, quality history, testing capability; not just a price sheet.
Purity is verified, not assumed. Testing happens before a product reaches you, not after a complaint reaches us.
Documentation ships with the order. A Certificate of Analysis isn’t something you should have to request separately or wait on. If it’s not ready, the order isn’t either.
We say what we don’t know. Regulatory status varies by compound and changes over time. Where a compound’s status is unsettled, we say so on the product page, not buried in fine print.
This is slower than the alternative. We think it’s the only version of “fast” that’s actually worth having in this industry.
